Last weekend we ventured up to Ponta Malangone in Mozambique.

Very nice and relaxed resort that is a mix of Cape Vidal and Coral Divers at Sodwana. There are huge developments going on in this Southern area – but at the moment it is still feels like you are in Africa as you drive through all the sand tracks sipping on your DM…eating your prawns on the side of the road and not being able to drink the water!

The reef structure is very much like Blood Reef on the Bluff on most of reefs – however it is the stuff you find on the reefs that makes this place worth the effort! We didn’t get to the famed Pinnacles though…. Next time…

There was a lot of surge and so most of the shots did require a bit of work in terms of the back scatter – but overall I was happy!
